Yoga for Women

honouring the sacred wisdom of the female body

I guide yoga in a way that honours a woman’s body and her cyclical nature, supporting each woman through the seasons, cycles and transitions of her life.

My yoga and studies span a range of modalities, including women’s health—focusing on menstrual and hormone health, cyclical living, and feminine embodiment—as well as The Art of Teaching Yoga, Yoga Nidra and the Art of Transformational Sleep, Yin Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, and Womb and Pelvic Care Yoga.

I often reflect on what it means to be a yoga teacher in the world we live in now. With so much fear, disconnection, and uncertainty, it can feel like this work is a drop in the ocean. but the true gift of yoga lies in its ability to help people regulate their nervous systems. In a world which feels increasingly more chaotic by the day, helping people feel calm isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity.

Because if our little corner of work involves pulling at one of the threads, then maybe we’re helping to unravel the whole damn cloth.

My yoga training

It all began in 2022, when I followed a long-held dream of travelling to Bali, Indonesia to complete my 200-hour yoga teacher training. I initially trained in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, and it was the beginning of a deeper journey—one which continues to unfold.

I returned to Bali in 2023 and 2024 to expand my practice, completing a 100-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training followed by a 100-hour Women’s Rewilding Training which deepened my knowledge of women’s health, cyclical wisdom, and vitality—and has become central to how I teach and live. In 2025 I returned to Bali to do another 100-hour teacher training in the Art of Teaching Yoga and a 50-hour course in Kirtan and Bhakti Yoga.

In spring 2026, I traveled to Rishikesh, India, to complete a 200-hour Himalayan Kundalini Kriya Yoga teacher training. I then continued my studies in Bali, completing a 25-hour course in Yoga Nidra: The Art of Transformational Sleep at the Yoga Barn in Ubud, followed by a 50-hour Womb and Pelvic Care course.

I am grateful to have learnt from some of the most inspiring teachers and gurus from across the world, including many who are leaders in their fields of work. I hold particular gratitude to Bex Tyrer and Emily Kuser who have been a great source of inspiration, and who have been generous with their time and their work. I also want to credit Uma Dinsmore Tuli and The Red School who have also been an empowering source of guidance, wisdom and inspiration.

‘Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.’

This beautiful Sanskrit prayer translates to:

May all beings everywhere be happy and free,
and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life
contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all
.

So many of us are longing to find peace, to slow down, to quieten our minds and return to a simpler way of being. Yoga helps us to do that by bridging the gap between our hearts and our minds, and each other.

When we take time to heal and transform ourselves, we have the power to transform our world.
